A third set of figures now points the same way on WrestleMania 42.

Brandon Thurston reported for POST Wrestling that the Las Vegas Stadium Authority, the government body responsible for Allegiant Stadium, released attendance data ahead of a quarterly meeting this week. It puts the April 18 show at 47,093 and the April 19 show at 50,033, a two-night total of 97,126.

The same authority reported 58,538 and 60,103 for the 2025 event at the same venue, for a total of 118,641.

Those numbers sit alongside two other counts. WrestleTix estimated 102,092 across the weekend. WWE announced 106,071 on air, read out by John Cena. Depending on the source used, the drop from 2025 works out to between 15 and 18 percent. Thurston’s full breakdown of the three, including what each measure is likely counting, is worth reading at POST.

TKO has already acknowledged the financial side. Its second-quarter results showed live events and hospitality revenue down $33.7 million year over year to $152 million, which the company said was almost exclusively down to WrestleMania 42. CFO Andrew Schleimer said on the earnings call that the return to Las Vegas was a deliberate choice and that the event still ranked among the largest box-office events in company history.

Nick Khan addressed the attendance on an internal TKO staff call in April, as reported by POST Wrestling at the time.

That was ultimately my decision. Maybe we don’t do that one again in terms of back-to-back, but ultimately it ended up being a successful event.

The 2025 event features the two biggest gates in wrestling history, with ticket sales totaling $66 million over the weekend. WWE has not disclosed a gate for 2026.

WrestleMania was originally announced for New Orleans before WWE moved it back to Las Vegas.
