Liv Morgan has revealed the one thing that gives her the “ick” inside the wrestling ring: getting her hair pulled.
Speaking on JaackMaate’s Happy Hour, the WWE star explained that her pet peeve had come up in a very recent match, courtesy of Charlotte Flair during their Queen of the Ring semifinal. In typical brash fashion, Morgan didn’t hold back in describing the encounter. “It actually happened to me this past week. Charlotte Flair, one of the most decorated wrestlers of all time, I’m so much better than her,” Morgan said.
Morgan claimed she had Flair well beaten before her opponent resorted to the hair-pull out of frustration. “I beat her and I’m tapping her out because I’m just that f—-ing strong, and she pulled my hair, already in defeat because she’s just salty,” Morgan said. The move clearly left an impression on the Women’s World Champion. “I hated it, I hated it. I have the ick.”
While Morgan advanced past Flair in the semifinals, her Queen of the Ring run ultimately came to an end in the final. At Night of Champions, IYO SKY defeated Morgan to win the 2026 Queen of the Ring tournament.
That result set the stage for an even bigger bout down the line. By winning the tournament, IYO SKY earned a championship opportunity at SummerSlam, where she is set to challenge Morgan for the Women’s World Championship. The two-night SummerSlam event takes place in Minneapolis on August 1 and 2, giving Morgan a chance to avenge her Queen of the Ring loss with her title on the line.
