Major League Wrestling has officially announced the return of MLW Fusion in 2026. The promotion released a promo video on their YouTube channel today (January 20) with the message:
You waited, you demanded, soon it returns... MLW Fusion 2026.
As first reported by Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select in September 2025, MLW had been in talks to develop a new weekly show. The company moved away from the weekly format several years ago, with the last episode of Fusion airing in December 2023.
First MLW Fusion Taping of 2026
While a specific premiere date was not included in the announcement, MLW has already scheduled their first Fusion TV taping for March 14, 2026, at Center Stage in Atlanta.
That event will feature appearances from Shotzi, CONTRA Unit, The Skyscrapers (Bishop Dyer & Donovan Dijak), The Good Brothers, Alex Hammerstone, and others.
MLW in 2026
The Fusion revival comes during a period of expansion for MLW, which relocated its headquarters to Charleston, South Carolina in November 2025. The company maintains its longstanding broadcast partnership with beIN Sports, with programming also available on YouTube.
Coming up for MLW is Battle Riot VIII on January 29 at the Osceola Heritage Park Events Center in Kissimmee, Florida. The event features a 40-man Battle Riot match where the winner earns a guaranteed title shot against current MLW World Heavyweight Champion Mads Krule Krügger.
