MLW Returns to Philly in June for 2-Night Event

Major League Wrestling announced they will return to Philadelphia for the first time in over two years with back-to-back shows on June 12 and 13 at the 2300 Arena.

The two-night event will include tapings for the new season of MLW Fusion and the promotion's signature Summer of the Beasts event. Both shows are sponsored by Don Gato Tequila, the brand launched by actor Danny McBride.

Tickets go on sale Friday, February 27 at 10:00 a.m. ET through MLW2300.com, with prices starting at $15.

MLW has announced several talents scheduled to appear including newly crowned MLW World Heavyweight Champion Killer Kross, Shotzi, Matt Riddle, and the CONTRA Unit faction.

The Philadelphia return holds special significance for MLW, as the promotion held its first event Genesis at the 2300 Arena in June 2002.

The June shows will also mark MLW's 24th anniversary in the wrestling business.

The event will also feature a special appearance from Don Gato as part of MLW's ongoing partnership with the tequila brand.
