Major League Wrestling will make history on December 13 when the MLW Women's World Featherweight Championship is defended in Thailand for the first time. Champion Shoko Nakajima will face Singapore Pro Wrestling's Alexis Lee at the "TJPW LIVE in Bangkok" event in Bangkok.
Nakajima, who has established herself as one of MLW's most dynamic champions with her speed and fighting spirit, will put her title on the line against Lee, one of Southeast Asia's most dangerous competitors known for her striking and power.
"This is what Major League Wrestling is all about," said MLW CEO Court Bauer. "Our champions aren't just fighting for belts—they're carrying the banner of Major League Wrestling to new destinations, new cultures, and new fans around the world. Seeing a world title defended in Thailand for the first time speaks to the momentum and global reach of what we're building."
MLW has been expanding its presence, recently relocating its headquarters to Charleston, South Carolina and announcing additional regional events including a return to Atlanta in March.
Both competitors aim to leave their mark on what promises to be a groundbreaking night for professional wrestling in Thailand.
