Nick Khan is happy to have Brock Lesnar back in WWE.
The company brought back The Beast Incarnate for a match with John Cena at WrestlePalooza. This was done despite considerable backlash from the fans due to his name being mentioned in the Janel Grant Sexual Trafficking lawsuit against former WWE owner Vince McMahon.
Nick Khan, who was brought in by the former WWE chairman back in 2020, recently spoke to UFC legend Daniel Cormier. Speaking on the return of Brock Lesnar, the WWE President claimed that the promotion is honored to have him back in the fold:
When he walks into a room, he looks and usually is the baddest dude on the planet. And that’s what he looks like, and that’s his personification.
By the way, he’s a gem to work with. Easy. As long as he knows things in advance, there are no issues. We’re honored to have him back. I’m happy he’s here, and I hope you enjoyed the WarGames match he was in.
Lesnar wrestled in his second match since his return at Survivor Series, where he teamed up with Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre and The Vision in the WarGames main event. The heels went on to beat the babyface team of Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and The Usos.
Though the booking of this bout seems to have caused some tensions behind the scenes and Triple H confirmed that there was backstage politics involved in it. You can check out his remarks on the matter here.
