Former NXT Champion Oba Femi has made it clear he's ready for a showdown with Brock Lesnar in WWE. 'The Ruler' acknowledged fan interest in a potential match, suggesting it may only be a matter of time. Speculation about a possible match between Femi and Lesnar began during the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble.
The possibility of a match between Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar gained traction after Paul Heyman announced on WWE Raw that Brock Lesnar would compete at WrestleMania 42 in an open challenge.
During that segment, the crowd chanted for Oba Femi in response to Heyman's challenge.
Oba Femi Open To Facing Brock Lesnar
Speaking with TV Insider, Femi acknowledged fan interest and expressed confidence a match with Lesnar will eventually happen. He said:
I know the fans have been asking for that match. It’s going to happen one day soon. What a run he has had — the UFC champion, multiple-time WWE champion, Royal Rumble winner, dominance.
Oba Femi is currently scheduled for a match against Rusev on the March 9th edition of Raw.
