WWE Superstar Omos has kicked 2025 off to a strong start by becoming one-half of the GHC Tag Team Champions. At Pro Wrestling NOAH\’s New Year 2025 event, Omos teamed with Jack Morris to end the reign of Naomichi Marufuji and Takashi Sugiura. The new champions were joined by former WWE Superstar Yoshi Tatsu.
This match marked Omos\’ in-ring debut for NOAH, who last competed in WWE during the April 5, 2024, edition of SmackDown as part of the Andre the Giant Battle Royal.

After the match, Morris and Omos celebrated their win, with the duo declaring that they would hold the titles forever.

Omos\’ involvement with NOAH is the latest example of WWE being willing to work with other promotions. In 2024 alone, WWE partnered with NOAH, Josh Barnett\’s Bloodsport, Marigold, and TNA Wrestling. However, Omos is the first WWE Superstar to win a non-WWE championship since the Sports Entertainment juggernaut began working with other promotions.
