Bray Wyatt was working on a new character before his WWE return, and photos of his look were recently released.
In a tweet on X, Jason Baker (who worked with Wyatt on his persona’s look) shared photos of Bray Wyatt dressed as ‘Sixx’, a new character he developed before returning to WWE in 2022. Wyatt could be seen wearing a different mask and gear, and Baker praised his ability to constantly evolve and try something new.
Amazing photos of @Windham6 wearing the “Sixx” mask and gear. (Unofficial name that myself, @Nick_Manfredini & Hoot were calling the character) I’ve never seen these since we did this photoshoot back in 2022. Windham wanted to try something new before bringing back the Fiend. A character that like Windham was always evolving, changing, modifying itself. A calculating ever changing machine. The bio mechanical fingers, the iron jaw, the harnesses, even the homage to human anatomy in his gear, jacket, and mask was all part of the character’s evolution. And all that could have been ?? (Mask created by myself & Brian McGuire. Gear
@SandyMimpson).
Unfortunately, the exact character never made it to television. Bray Wyatt returned to WWE after his release in 2021 at the WWE Extreme Rules PPV in 2022. He returned in a different persona and aligned himself with a mysterious masked figure named Uncle Howdy, played by his real-life brother, Bo Dallas.
Furthermore, he was taken off television by February 2023 due to health reasons. In August, the wrestling fans learned about the unfortunate passing of Wyatt due to a cardiac arrest, with one of the biggest WWE superstars gone too soon.
While Wyatt may no longer be with us, his impact, spirit, and contributions to wrestling are often felt.
