Bron Breakker had commanded roaring momentum at the start of 2026 to the point that he was heavily rumored to win the 2026 Royal Rumble match. However, the real reason behind his not winning has come to light by none other than WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque.
In the third season of WWE Unreal documentary on Netflix, The Game revealed that he and the creative team passed on Breakker winning the Rumble out of fear of him being shoved down fans’ throats. It eventually led to the Unpredictable Badass being attacked by a hooded figure later revealed to be Seth Rollins as he made his entrance, becoming the first superstar to be tossed over the top rope.
Since then, things have been a downward spiral for Bron Breakker. He suffered an injury that sidelined him for the rest of the road to WrestleMania 42. Breakker returned on Night 1 of the show and reignited his feud with Rollins, leading to a series of matches between them over the next few months.
The rivalry culminated with Breakker losing a hellicious Steel Cage match to Rollins at the 2026 Night of Champions PLE. Currently, he is one-half of the WWE World Tag Team Champions with Austin Theory, and is looking to work his way up back at a prominent spot as part of The Vision.
