The \'Mami\' of the Judgment Day captured the title on April 1, 2023, at WrestleMania 39. Ripley won the SmackDown Women\'s Championship at the event with a victory over Charlotte Flair. Ripley earned the match by winning the 2023 Women\'s Royal Rumble match, though her record-long performance was surpassed by Bayley this year.
