WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam has revealed that he is considering wrestling more in 2026 after recovering from an injury he sustained in April 2025. 'The Whole F'n Show' is feeling good and training hard, and he's receiving a lot of booking requests.
RVD broke both his heels at the MLW Battle Riot match on April 5th last year, after Matt Riddle pushed him off the top turnbuckle. As per F4WOnline, RVD hasn’t wrestled since the injury.
Rob Van Dam Return Update
During his recent podcast, RVD teased that he might wrestle more in 2026. He mentioned that he’s receiving a lot of booking requests and said:
I am right now just wondering, maybe I’ll wrestle a little more than I thought I would this year.
When asked how he’s feeling, RVD responded:
I feel awesome. Yeah. Training really hard and training good, sleeping good.
The former WWE Champion said that the injury he suffered at last year’s Battle Riot is no longer preventing him from training. He is also scheduled to appear at WWE World on April 20th, 2026.
The last match I had was in April when I broke both of them for MLW. And so it’s been a bit of a comeback. I haven’t wrestled since then. I imagine my feet will be probably a little bit sore, but they’re not holding me back now from running, training, spinning, kicking.
