Roman Reigns Shuts Down Health Concerns Over Part-Time Schedule


Roman Reigns feels like he's 25.

The Tribal Chief has pulled back on his WWE presence over the last few years, resorting to a part-time schedule. Since 2023, the former World Champion has only wrestled 24 matches, being beaten by Logan Paul who has had 27 bouts in the same time period.

Though while providing a health update during a rare media appearance on Pat McAfee show, Reigns explained that his limited schedule is not related to any health issues. The Head of The Table said that he needed the time off to focus on his family, but he feels just as good physically as he did at 25:

It’s been a tough couple of years for me, but at the same time, when you come off such a hell of a run, you gotta kind of just pump the brakes for a second. I got five children at home; we all wear those two important hats being a husband and a father.

You gotta be able to click...and I've been on the road for a long time so I needed to be able to pull back a little bit, but I’m fully capable. I’m only 40 years old. With all the tech and all the information we have now, I feel like I'm 25 years old. So I’m still good to go,

When asked if he is ready to go on another legendary run like his historic 1,316-day World Title reign, Roman Reigns claimed that he is always capable of repeating that performance. The Bloodline leader suggested that he's not thinking of retirement anytime soon, saying that it's his family's art form and asking what else he is going to do if not wrestling.

The wrestling veteran seemed to take aim at the WWE creative during the same interview as well, implying that they have failed to create new stars in his absence. You can check out what he said here.
