Rumor Killer On Roman Reigns WWE Status

Is Roman Reigns leaving WWE?

The Tribal Chief sparked rumors about his future in the company with his new sit-down interview with Michael Cole released on Friday. The comment that got people's attention was the former World Champion saying that he wouldn't belong in WWE if he can't beat CM Punk at WrestleMania and 'If I were to lose on Sunday, I’d say my work is done.'

With the Head of the Table spreading his wings in the acting world recently, this made a lot of fans wonder if he could be following the footsteps of his cousin The Rock and leaving the company for Hollywood after the Show of Shows.

Roman Reigns Firmly Under WWE Contract

PWinsider provided an update on these rumors and confirmed that Roman Reigns is not going anywhere. They suggested that WWE is purposely staying quiet on the matter to encourage the buzz on social media:

The claims that Roman Reigns' contract is expiring are not accurate, PWInsider.com can confirm. We are told that WWE is purposely staying quiet in order to encourage conspiracy theories leading into WrestleMania 42 this weekend when Reigns battles CM Punk in the main event of Night Two.

Another source with the knowledge of the situation claimed that even if Reigns' deal was nearing its end 'it was all worked out with time to spare.'

There is a high probability that the former Bloodline leader will come out of the Show of Shows a champion. It'd be interesting to see who challenges him first if the title change does happen.
