A TikTok video shows Sami Zayn flipping off a heckling fan twice and appearing to throw something in their direction, captured backstage moments after his emotional post-match promo.
The clip captures the raw anger and hurt of a champion who lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to CM Punk after just nine days.
The footage, posted by TikTok user @donbueno5, picked up Zayn right after he finished recording his heated promo about losing the title on the July 6, 2026 episode of Raw. As Zayn walked away, a fan yelled, “F*** you, Sami!” loud enough for him to hear.
Zayn turned around and flipped the fan off, then did it again. He also seemingly threw something towards the heckler.
The timing explains the intensity of the reaction. Moments earlier, Zayn had unloaded on Punk in a promo where he questioned how a returning star could walk in and take the title he had chased for more than two decades.
I have a question. How is it that after 24 years of crawling and inching for every little inch to get to the WWE Title, after I finally get it, nine days after I get it, that piece of s*** can walk back in here after not being here for months and waltz right in and get a chance? That mother*** has no business! No business!” Zayn said in his explosive rant after the loss.
Zayn collapsed to the ground and cried after finishing the promo. So when the fan screamed at him seconds later, it landed less like ordinary heckling.
A Nine-Day Reign Cut Short
Punk defeated Zayn in the Raw main event to capture the Undisputed WWE Championship, ending Zayn’s reign after only nine days. For Punk, it was a dream result, walking out with the title in front of a hometown Chicago crowd.
