Seth Rollins Frustrated at Missing Only Chance To ‘Properly’ Main Event WrestleMania

Seth Rollins wants a proper WrestleMania main event.

The Architect has been in the main event of Night 1 of WrestleMania a couple of times since the PPV expanded to two nights. He also cashed in his Money In The Bank to close out WrestleMania 31 in the ‘Heist of The Century’ but the former Shield Member still feels like he has not achieved what he truly wants.

The latest season of WWE Unreal showed the aftermath of Seth Rollins’ 2025 Crown Jewel injury. While discussing the effects of it, the former World Champion expressed his frustration at the injury ruining his only chance to properly main event the Show of Shows:

In my opinion, I haven’t properly main evented WrestleMania. A couple of night ones and the cash-in, yada yada. But for me, being on the marquee and headlining night two, having that is something I’ve always wanted.

I do feel like [2026] was probably the year for it. To know that it’s probably out the window, it’s really difficult to wrap my head around.

Seth Rollins defeated CM Punk and Roman Reigns in a triple threat at Night 1 of WrestleMania 41 with help from Paul Heyman. Bron Breakker joined him on the following Raw to form The Vision.

After winning the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam 2025, Rollins looked poised to be the central figure of WWE heading into WrestleMania 42, before the shoulder injury at Crown Jewel in October made him miss the whole build for the event.
