Seth Rollins has revealed some unknown details about his health struggles.
The Architect and his wife, Becky Lynch recently sat down with Complex News for a new interview. They discussed things such as the process of selecting their ring gears, Becky winning the IC title, Vince McMahon banning the stomp and more.
When the topic of injuries came up, Seth Rollins mentioned that for him, the chronic issues that come with a long career are worse than the injuries that keep you out of action. He revealed that neck pain is one such issue he has to deal with, recalling a really bad stretch he went through last year:
"During the summer last year I couldn’t go 30 seconds without fidgeting. I had to get in a different position; I had to jam my thumb into my neck. I mean, it was not fun and then had to try to go to work and wrestle and be normal and stuff like that."
Worst Feeling In The World: Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins mentioned how these are issues that can stop you from enjoying your everyday life. He gave the example of how he was unable to play with his daughter, calling it the worst feeling in the world:
"The worst part was like when your daughter wants to play and you’re like, ‘Ah, daddy needs a minute.’ Seeing her disappointed is the worst feeling in the world. I can get through wrestling stuff, whatever. But seeing my daughter disappointed and the sadness on her face because daddy can’t pick her up. That hurts. That sticks with you.”
Apart from this, Seth provided an update on his recovery from shoulder injury. The former world champion noted that it's been three months since his surgery, and he is able to use his arm for normal things such as washing his hair. He claimed to not know the exact plan for his return to the ring, but said that they're making progress in the right direction.
