Sycho Sid Joins the WWE Hall of Fame's Class of 2026

WWE has officially announced that "Sycho" Sid Eudy will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as a Legacy Inductee and member of the Class of 2026.

The two-time WWE Champion is widely regarded as one of the most physically imposing and charismatic Superstars of his era. Sid debuted in WWE as Sid Justice in 1991, serving as the Special Guest Referee at SummerSlam 1991 before aligning himself with Shawn Michaels ahead of WrestleMania XI.

Run as Champion

His most memorable run came when he defeated Michaels for the WWE Championship at Survivor Series 1996, before becoming a two-time champion by pinning Bret Hart on the February 17, 1997 episode of Raw. After departing WWE, Sid made a significant impact in WCW, headlining shows against Hulk Hogan, Sting, Goldberg, and Booker T.

A serious injury in 2001 threatened to end his career, but Sid returned to the independent wrestling circuit. His comeback match notably featured current WWE Superstar Sami Zayn. He continued making wrestling appearances until his passing in 2024 at the age of 63 following a battle with cancer.

Sid will join fellow Class of 2026 inductees Stephanie McMahon, AJ Styles, Demolition, and celebrity inductee Dennis Rodman at the induction ceremony on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas, the night before WrestleMania 42.
