Stephanie Vaquer was on crutches two days after Money in the Bank.
Vaquer lost the Women’s World Championship to Liv Morgan in Saturday’s triple threat in New Orleans, a match that also included Becky Lynch. Morgan pinned Vaquer with ObLIVion to begin her fourth reign with the title.
Vaquer appeared to hurt her leg early in the match, possibly on a crossbody to the floor. She was seen favoring it but finished the bout. Fan footage showed referee Jessika Carr helping her to the back afterward.
On Monday’s Raw, Jackie Redmond caught up with Vaquer backstage to ask about her ankle. Vaquer was on crutches but told Lynch she would be fine in “a few days.” WWE shared the backstage segment on X.
The loss ended Vaquer’s second reign at less than a month. She regained the title from Morgan on Sept. 12 at a live event in her native Chile, with Lynch serving as special guest referee.
Vaquer had returned in August from about three months away. She lost the title to Morgan at WrestleMania 42 in April and was written off TV after a Judgment Day attack on the April 27 Raw. She came back on the August 3 Raw and later revealed she had surgery during her time away. WWE has not issued a formal update on her ankle.
