Tiffany Stratton's Initial Plans for WWE SummerSlam 2026

ByNicholas WatsonProfessional Wrestling Journalist

Tiffany Stratton was initially planned for a singles match at WWE SummerSlam 2026 before being added to another bout recently.

According to Cory Hayes of False Finish, The Center of the Universe was slated to defend her WWE Women’s United States Championship against new SmackDown star, Blake Monroe.

The Glamour had addressed Stratton in one of her vignettes and even attacked Stratton’s ally, Chelsea Green, backstage on SmackDown. However, those plans were officially scrapped after last week’s announcement.

RAW General Manager Adam Pearce announced that a multi-woman ladder match will take place at SummerSlam 2026 to crown an interim WWE Women’s Champion. This came after the current champion, Rhea Ripley, was still not medically cleared due to a knee injury.

Pearce also revealed that a series of qualifiers will determine the competitors, and two matches took place on SmackDown last week. One of them saw Tiffany Stratton defeat Jacy Jayne to earn a spot in the ladder match. Therefore, Stratton will now head to SummerSlam and has an opportunity to become Tiffy 2 Belts in her hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

So, it will be interesting to see if she gets her moment at the Biggest Party of the Summer.
