Timothy Thatcher is set to become the new on-screen General Manager of WWE EVOLVE. The announcement was made by NXT GM Robert Stone on this week's WWE Evolve show on Tubi.
Thatcher is stepping into the role following Stevie Turner's release in October 2025. He returned to WWE in 2024 and has been working for the EVOLVE brand and as a trainer for WWE ID program.
Robert Stone referenced Thatcher's unique personality and old-school values, saying, "Even though he refused the pound of Stone saying a handshake is the more old school way…it was a pleasure officially naming Timothy Thatcher the new Foreman of Evolve."

According to Stone, Thatcher is a "different breed" who doesn't wear knee pads because he believes it means you've got weak knees. Stone also noted that Thatcher doesn't do social media and doesn't even own a phone or a TV.
Stone believes this makes Thatcher the perfect man for the job and thanked Shawn Michaels (HBK) for trusting him with the decision.
Stone added that Evolve has already produced legitimate NXT superstars and helped shape the future of the industry, so it needed real authority, and Thatcher is beyond the right man for it.
Stone knew Thatcher was special ever since the first time he met him at Southside Wrestling in England back in 2015. The next chapter of Evolve starts... now.
