An update has emerged on Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan stalker case.
After months of delays, the federal stalking case involving Shawn Chan now has a firm trial date, and the unusual structure of the proceedings suggests it could move quickly toward a verdict. The case is scheduled to go to trial on Monday, June 15.
As per PWInsider, the trial is set to begin at 9 a.m. before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida in Tampa.
Court records reportedly list the matter as a stipulated facts bench trial. That means no jury would be involved and both sides have agreed upon certain facts in an effort to reduce the need for witness testimony, a structure that points to a potentially swift resolution.
Background On The Liv Morgan Stalker Case
Chan is the man accused of traveling from Canada to Liv Morgan’s home in Florida before later being arrested at the WWE Performance Center.
The case had originally been expected to proceed in March, but multiple delays pushed the proceedings back.
With both sides having pre-agreed on key facts and no jury to seat, the June 15 bench trial sets up a streamlined path to a ruling.
