First Saudi WWE Signing Since Mansoor
Sahli, who will perform under the ring name Fahd Tuwaiq, is described as WWE's first Saudi super heavyweight. He has an accomplished background as a champion in both arm wrestling and powerlifting, and has been training at the WWE Performance Center since signing.
The signing was announced by Alalshikh ahead of Friday's SmackDown and Saturday's Royal Rumble, both taking place in Saudi Arabia. Fahd Tuwaiq is the first Saudi wrestler signed to WWE since Mansoor, who signed in 2018 when WWE's Saudi partnership began and was released in September 2023.
WWE trademarked the name "Fahd Tuwaiq" in early December 2025.
Alalshikh's Role in WWE's Saudi Expansion
Alalshikh has been instrumental in WWE's growing presence in Saudi Arabia, including securing WrestleMania 43 for Riyadh in 2027. This week's events mark another chapter in that partnership, with a Saudi-born wrestler now on the roster.
SmackDown airs Friday, January 30 with the Royal Rumble premium live event following on Saturday, January 31 from Riyadh.
