Update On Allie Katch's Injury, GoFundMe Launched

At The People Vs. GCW, Allie Katch suffered a serious injury in her match with Effy that brought an abrupt end to the contest. The match was to determine the challenger for Mance Warner's GCW World Championship and the show saw Effy compete against Warner in the main event.

In an update, Steph De Lander shared that Katch had been taken to a nearby hospital where doctors confirmed that her leg is broken in two places. A GoFundMe has been launched to help cover costs that has already raked in over $8,000 of its $13,000 goal. Notable names have been donating include AEW's Kris Statlander and Deonna Purrazzo.

In an update, De Lander shared that Allie will be undergoing surgery in the next couple of days. She also expressed gratitude to those who have already donated to the GoFundMe.
