Vince McMahon Featured In John Cena Tribute Video At SNME


Vince McMahon made an appearance for John Cena's final match at Saturday Night's Main Event, though not in person.

The Cenation Leader competed in the final match of his legendary career in the main event of tonight's show. He ended his run as an active star by tapping out to Gunther.

Triple H led the whole locker room at the ringside after the bell, and everyone was visibly emotional in the moment.

Cody Rhodes and CM Punk first got in the ring to share a moment with John Cena. The Game then hopped up on the apron amid booes to hug the WWE Legend.

The WWE creative head then pointed at a big screen, which featured a final tribute video for the 17-time world champion with various names discussing what he has meant to pro wrestling.

John Cena had repeated his comments about loving Vince McMahon during his retirement tour, so many expected the former WWE owner to be present for tonight's show.

While the former WWE chairman did not appear in person, he was featured in the video that played at the end of the event via archival footage.
