Vince McMahon's Last Idea In WWE Revealed

Former WWE star Mansoor is looking back on one of WWE’s more puzzling creative experiments, and revealing just how close it came to marking the end of an era.

Speaking with Sportskeeda, Mansoor revealed that he and Mason Madden’s Maximum Male Models gimmick was actually Vince McMahon’s final idea before his July 2022 departure from the company, which came in the wake of hush money scandals and misconduct allegations that led to his exit.

Mansoor Reveals Vince McMahon’s Final Idea

Mansoor recalled the strange nature of the assignment in detail. He explained that after the team’s debut, McMahon had them work house shows performing fashion show-style segments, and Mansoor admitted he initially assumed something more would happen, like an opponent interrupting to physically confront them.

So it’s so interesting with the Maximum Male Models because we were Vince’s last idea, before he left the company. So we debuted and we were supposed to do those fashion show segments for weeks. Actually it’s a funny story, Vince had us go to house shows and do fashion show segments and I was like “Oh cool” and then maybe somebody will come out and kick out b*tt, like toss us around.

Instead, the segments simply ended with the two of them walking off, leaving crowds visibly confused about what they’d just watched. Mansoor said he never had a clear sense of what the long-term goal of the gimmick actually was, and shortly after, McMahon exited the company, with Triple H taking over creative control.

Nope, we would do our fashion show segments and leave and the crowds would be like “Huh?, That’s it?”. Like it’s just two guys in shorts doing this [poses], this and this. I had no clue what was going on there but I don’t know what the end goal was. Vince then left and Hunter took over.

Mansoor was released from WWE in 2023, following which he started performing on indie circuit.
