WWE Hall of Famer X-Pac has been out of the wrestling ring since 2022. That doesn’t mean he’s out of people’s minds, though.
In fact, he was brought up on the latest episode of Insight With Chris Van Vliet.
During it, WWE Raw star Je’Von Evans revealed that X-Pac considers him as his dream opponent. Evans even went as far as inviting the D-Generation X member to wrestle him in the future. Whether X-Pac will accept the offer has yet to be seen.
Dream match? So of course Roman [Reigns] is up there, [CM] Punk’s up there. I think I want Rey Mysterio in a one-on-one match. Me and Rey, I feel like we would go crazy, crazy. Fun fact, X-Pac just told me that I’m his dream match, man. Yeah, so OG want to come back for one more match? I’m down for it. Pretty insane, right?
X-Pac, a former WWE Tag Team Champion, last wrestled at
Joey Janela’s Spring Break 6 event, which took place in the midst of WWE WrestleMania 38 weekend. He took on Janela himself, with the GCW regular ultimately emerging victorious. X-Pac is now 54.
Evans Eyeing Match With a Future Hall of Famer Too
For Evans, another exciting match possibility lies with a future WWE Hall of Famer, who retired from in-ring competition in December 2025.
[John] Cena, for sure,” he said. “Cena, for sure, because I would have learned so much from Cena.
Evans, now known as “The Young OG,” moved up to WWE’s main roster in January 2026.
