AJ Styles will be in the building for the NXT Heatwave and AAA Ola de Calor doubleheader, but do not expect to see him.

PWInsider reports that Styles is not expected to appear on camera. The outlet reports he has been producing matches while Terry Taylor recovers from knee surgery.

Styles flagged the assignment himself last week. On The AJ Styles Show, he said he expects to produce the NXT Championship match, a fatal four-way with Tony D’Angelo defending against Grayson Waller, Cruz Montana and Zilla Fatu.

Both shows run Sunday from Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg, Texas. Ola de Calor starts at noon ET, with Heatwave following at 3 PM ET on The CW in the United States and Netflix internationally.

Styles wrestled his last match at the Royal Rumble in January, dropping a career-on-the-line bout to Gunther. He entered the WWE Hall of Fame in April and has since been coaching at the Performance Center and producing for NXT and Evolve.
