WWE is hoping for a big cameo for next week's Raw.
The company has booked some big returns and a couple of interesting matches for the March 16 episode of the Monday Night Show set for Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas.
During a recent Q&A, WrestleVotes noted that the announced names are not the only ones officials are hoping would be at the show. While nothing is confirmed yet, there are people within the company who believe that the Texas Rattlesnake would be making an appearance on the episode:
We talked to a couple people over the weekend… there have been conversations that I don’t want to say WWE has invited Steve Austin to Raw next Monday night on 3:16 day in San Antonio, Texas. But there are people who work for the company that are very hopeful Stone Cold Steve Austin will be on that Monday Night Raw just a week from tonight.
The Attitude Era star last appeared on WWE programming during WrestleMania 41. Though he has not made an appearance on the weekly WWE TV since the COVID-19 pandemic.
Whether Steve Austin makes his surprise return to the company will only be revealed on Monday, but the promotion has still loaded up the card for the upcoming show. You can check out what's currently confirmed for the episode here.
