WWE appears to be preparing for Bronson Reed’s return, and the tell came from the merchandise department.
WrestleVotes Radio, reporting on Fightful Select, says Reed’s name has been coming up internally over the past several weeks. A source in WWE’s promotional merchandising department indicated that his name has surfaced in a way that suggests the company is preparing to bring him back.
No date has been reported, and the report stops short of saying he is days away. What it does say is that Reed is set to return as a main-event-level heel, with the plan to keep moving him up the card once he is back. The source said WWE has had the return earmarked for months, with a possible program against Oba Femi later this year.
Reed has been out since February 23, when he tore his distal biceps on RAW while diving to break up a pinfall in a three-way Elimination Chamber qualifying match with Jey Uso and the Original El Grande Americano. WrestleVotes reported at the time that Reed had been the planned winner. The injury forced rewrites across several angles, including the masked man story that had run through the Royal Rumble.
It was his second serious injury in fifteen months. He hurt his ankle at Survivor Series in November 2024 after diving off the cage through a table in the WarGames match.
He has not been quiet during the layoff. Reed posted a before-and-after photograph on August 17 with the caption “I’m a problem,” and has repeatedly needled Oba Femi on social media, including after Femi beat Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. Logan Paul has also said publicly that Reed will be back soon.
