WWE has the Caesars Superdome on hold for spring 2029, a sign of when New Orleans could finally get its next WrestleMania.
Fightful Select reports that the building is held from March 12 through April 21, 2029. A source who has worked WWE events in the city said the hold was placed in conjunction with WWE.
A major stadium event typically requires a two-week load-in. The longer six-week window is likely meant to give WWE room to settle on a date, according to the report.
Nothing is official. A WWE spokesperson told the outlet there was nothing final or to announce yet.
New Orleans was originally set to host WrestleMania 42 in 2026. In May 2025, WWE and the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation said the event would move to a future year in the city. WWE named Las Vegas as the 2026 host in June. A 2029 event would be WrestleMania 45.
The report also notes that WWE owes a future WrestleMania to Indianapolis. WrestleMania 43 heads to Saudi Arabia in 2027.
New Orleans hosts Money in the Bank on Oct. 10 at the Smoothie King Center. That event was pushed back from September.
