WWE Production Veteran Jim Shank Passes Away at 60

ByMike ReichlinProfessional Wrestling Journalist

WWE production veteran Jim Shank has died at age 60. Shank worked for WWE for more than 25 years after joining the company in November 1999 during the Attitude Era.

He rose to the position of Technical Operations Manager and became particularly well-known for his expertise operating WWE’s robotic and remote-controlled cameras for television productions.

Reports indicate Shank passed away this past Friday after fighting colorectal cancer for several years, just weeks after celebrating his 60th birthday.

He had been undergoing treatments supported in part by a GoFundMe campaign launched in 2025, which raised over $200,000 to help cover therapies not fully paid by insurance.

WWE honored Shank at the conclusion of Monday Night Raw with an in memoriam graphic tribute.
