WWE Raw Preview for Tonight: Special Start Time

ByMike ReichlinProfessional Wrestling Journalist

WWE Raw airs tonight (Monday, June 29, 2026) from Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey, live on Netflix starting at a special time of 6 PM ET.

This is the Night of Champions fallout show, and the fallout is heavy. Roman Reigns returns to TV for the first time in two weeks after Jey Uso failed the directive that was supposed to bring a world title back to The Bloodline. Chad Gable vs. JD McDonagh is the lone match confirmed so far. Here’s everything you need to know including start times, how to watch, and the full card.

Note the early bell. Raw starts at 6 PM ET tonight because WWE is running a double taping at Boardwalk Hall, pre-taping the July 3 edition of SmackDown after Raw goes off the air. It’s the first WWE TV broadcast from Atlantic City in nearly two decades.

WWE Raw Match Card for June 29, 2026

Here are the matches and segments announced for tonight’s show:

Chad Gable vs. JD McDonagh (Singles Match)

Gable wants a Men’s Intercontinental Championship opportunity, and he floated a showdown with Dominik Mysterio to get it. Dom wasn’t interested in fighting him directly. He volunteered JD McDonagh instead, fresh off McDonagh getting electrocuted via a Danhausen curse, and Adam Pearce made it official. Win here and Gable keeps his name in the IC title picture.

Roman Reigns Returns to Atlantic City

Reigns sent Jey Uso into the King of the Ring tournament with one job: win it, then take the title at SummerSlam. Jey came up short against Oba Femi in the final at Night of Champions. Now the OTC is back on Raw for the first time since the London show, and the question is how he reacts to Jey’s failure. This is the segment to watch.

Road to WWE SummerSlam 2026

SummerSlam 2026 takes place Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The card is already taking shape. Oba Femi earned a world title match of his choosing by winning King of the Ring, and he’s teased going after both Reigns and the Undisputed WWE Championship. That title now belongs to Sami Zayn, who shocked the Kingdom Arena crowd by pinning Cody Rhodes in the Night of Champions triple threat. On the women’s side, IYO SKY won Queen of the Ring and immediately challenged Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship at SummerSlam. Tonight’s Raw starts pointing all of it in a direction.
