Bronson Reed is coming back, and it should happen within weeks.
PWInsider reports that Reed has fully recovered and is 100 percent expected back full-time on the Raw roster this month. No specific date has been attached to it.
Reed has been out since the February 23 Raw, where he tore his distal biceps in a triple threat with Jey Uso and El Grande Americano. He had surgery days later. The match was an Elimination Chamber qualifier that Reed was reportedly set to win, and the injury forced a change with Jey Uso going over instead.
He has not been hiding in the meantime. Reed spent the layoff posting gym photos and is noticeably slimmer than the version who left. He was at WWE headquarters in Stamford at the end of August and shared video of the visit.
There are plans behind it. WrestleVotes reported on Fightful Select that Reed is expected to return as a main event-level heel, with a program against Oba Femi under consideration for later this year. The same report said his name had been coming up across internal departments, including promotional merchandise.
The Vision needs the body. Logan Paul tore his triceps in May and has stayed on television without wrestling, leaving Bron Breakker, Austin Theory, Maxxine Dupri and Paul Heyman to carry the group. Breakker and Theory hold the World Tag Team Championship, and Breakker faces Oba Femi at Sunday Night’s Main Event in Atlanta on September 6.
