Zilla Fatu was spotted at WWE’s Performance Center in Orlando on Monday, the clearest sign yet that the promotion is taking a hands-on look at signing the son of the late Umaga. The visit moves a long-running story from speculation into an active, on-site evaluation.
According to PWInsider, the 26-year-old’s appearance at the Orlando facility has fueled fresh talk that a deal could be on the horizon for the rising second-generation star.
The timing makes the visit notable. Fatu had previously gone on record saying he was not ready for WWE and The Bloodline, so a trip to the company’s developmental hub suggests that stance may be shifting.
Fatu, whose real name is Isayah Fatu, comes from one of wrestling’s most famous bloodlines. He is the son of late WWE star Umaga and a member of the legendary Anoa’i family, making him a third-generation wrestler and the great-nephew of The Wild Samoans, Afa and Sika.
Zilla Fatu’s Rise On The Independent Scene
After making his professional wrestling debut on July 15, 2023, Fatu built momentum quickly following training under Booker T. He has competed for promotions including House of Glory, GameChanger Wrestling, and Reality of Wrestling, collecting multiple titles along the way.
His accomplishments include two reigns as HOG Crown Jewel Champion and a run as ROW Heavyweight Champion.
WWE’s interest has not been a secret. Paul Heyman previously stated that the company should sign Fatu at “the very first opportunity,” and Monday’s Performance Center visit only adds to that intrigue.
A Charged Family Backdrop
Any WWE move would land in the middle of an already tense family picture. Fatu recently accused Solo Sikoa of betrayal and has also fired back at uncle Rikishi over TNA criticism.
With The Bloodline continuing to evolve on WWE television and Jacob Fatu recently joining Roman Reigns’ faction, speculation is growing about whether another member of the Anoa’i dynasty could eventually make the jump.
