As expected, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan will be taking on Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan at the WWE Hell in a Cell PPV.
WWE made the match announcement official on Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live San Francisco, California at the Chase Center.
It happened when Reigns and Bryan aligned before they had a clear the air meeting in the ring where they agreed to put their differences aside to team up in order to get their revenge on the former WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions.
This storyline was set up when Rowan beat Reigns at the Clash of Champions pay-per-view event that saw Harper make his return in order to help Rowan win the No DQ Match.
The post-Clash of Champions episode of SmackDown Live saw Rowan and Harper beat down Reigns that eventually led to Bryan to attempt to make the save only to be attacked.
WWE presents the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event on Sunday, October 6, 2019 in Sacramento, California at the Golden 1 Center that will air on the WWE Network.
