WWE star Bobby Lashley is once again pitching a potential match against WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar.
This has been a match that Lashley has been talking about for years now as up until a few years ago, they were not in the same promotion. However, Lashley thinks now is the right time for this match to get booked as they’re both under the WWE banner.
Lashley celebrated his birthday on Tuesday and took to his official Twitter account where he noted that his next goal is to face Lesnar once his feud with Seth Rollins is over.
Lashley wrote, “Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. Next step: Get @HeymanHustle to inform the “champ” when he’s done with Seth, I’m waiting. #BobbyVsBrock #Raw.”
Lashley appears to have complete focus on his pro wrestling career these days but this has not kept fans from wondering about the state of his pro-MMA career. He’s under contract with Bellator MMA.
While a fight won’t happen between these two stars, a wrestling match is possible. Time will tell whether Lashley gets to achieve his goal.
Lesnar is slated to defend the Universal Title against Seth Rollins at the SummerSlam pay-per-view event.
