The Bullet Club has extended a formal invitation to the McMahon family to attend Ring of Honor’s upcoming live event from San Antonio, Texas on Friday, November 17th.
Cody Rhodes, Marty Scurll and The Young Bucks mocked WWE for booking a show in the same city as their ‘Survival of the Fittest’ San Antonio event, accusing them of piggybacking off the success of the Bullet Club.
WWE announced last week that the San Antonio show will feature NXT Champion Drew McIntyre defending against Adam Cole in the main event, with Shawn Michaels serving as special guest referee.
They noted that WWE rarely acknowledges other companies, but ROH appears to have caught their attention. Cody says WWE has stolen his father’s ideas, with Scurll noting that they even ripped off his signature umbrella (for 205 Live star Jack Gallagher).
After first proposing that the McMahons could get free tickets, the rescinded that offer and said any McMahon family member is welcome to a 10% discount off an ROH ticket that night – upon showing photo ID.
Tickets are now available for ROH’s Survival of the Fittest event from San Antonio at ROHWrestling.com.
