Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) was founded on May 10, 2002, by Jeff Jarrett, Jerry Jarrett, and Bob Ryder. Originally based at the Tennessee State Fairground Sports Arena in Nashville (known as the "TNA Asylum"), the company later moved operations to Universal Studios Florida. In 2017, TNA was acquired by Anthem Sports & Entertainment and rebranded as Impact Wrestling. In January 2024, the promotion officially returned to the TNA branding.
