John Cena Fuels Speculation About Possible Kurt Angle Match At WrestleMania

John Cena has fans talking after a recent photo he shared on his Instagram account of WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle.

This comes just a day removed from Angle announcing on RAW that he would be competing in his retirement match at WrestleMania 35. You can see the post here:

Cena does not have a match scheduled for WrestleMania 35 and WWE has yet to announce an opponent for Angle in his retirement match. Thus, this has led to speculation from fans online and Cena has only added to the fire.

It should be noted that the former WWE Champion has posted random photos on his Instagram account without any explanation in the past. To have fun with fans, he has shared photos of wrestlers such as Kenny Omega, AJ Styles, The Undertaker, and CM Punk. This is all to get them talking.

However, with Cena and Angle having history together – Cena made his main roster debut against Angle back in 2002 on an episode of SmackDown – it could be argued that Cena would be the perfect opponent for Angle to wrestle at this show.

WWE presents the WrestleMania 35 pay-per-view event on Sunday, April 7, 2019 in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium.
