Takeshita captured the championship at AEW WrestleDream in a triple-threat match against Will Ospreay and Ricochet. Ricochet reignited their rivalry on the November 6 episode of AEW Dynamite by pinning Takeshita during a tag team match, setting the stage for this high-stakes encounter.
Khan confirmed the match on Twitter, calling it “the fight that the AEW fans want to see.” With Takeshita’s dominance as champion and Ricochet’s recent momentum, the bout is expected to deliver edge-of-your-seat action.
