Damien Sandow Shares His Thoughts On AEW

Former WWE/Impact Wrestling star Damien Sandow, real name Aaron Rex, recently spoke with Chris Van Vliet while in Los Angeles where he spoke about a wide range of topics.

During the interview, Sandow spoke about potentially signing with AEW (All Elite Wrestling), which officially launched last month.

“Right now I know I have a pretty busy summer coming up. I don’t know where I would fit time in,” Sandow stated. “Also, the thing is I haven’t been in a ring in almost two years.”

Sandow would then question if he thinks he can get into the ring and perform after not working a match in two years. He does think he could but would want to get in there while being in front of a live audience to see how he feels and make sure he protects his opponent.

The pro wrestler turned actor would continue by stating that he doesn’t think the Monday Night Wars will reignite within two weeks of AEW running shows but knows they have the financial backing and got the talent.

“I really do wish that they succeed and kind of bring wrestling back. Cody and I have talked extensively about the business, everything in the past, his ideas. What he believes makes a good wrestling show and what makes good wrestling and I think that’s a really good idea.” He added that he thinks it’s going to be really interesting.
