In light of the incident involving Rosemary at TripleMania XXV, Lucha Libre AAA has stripped Sexy Star of the Reinas de Reina championship. The decision was announced just hours after Sexy Star released another letter explaining her actions at TripleMania.
This marks the second time this year that the Reinas de Reina title has been vacated. Taya was stripped of the title back in July so that they could put the title on Star. Taya alleges the promotion double crossed her by telling her to ‘bring the title in for a photo shoot’ and then refused to return it. Sexy Star was later awarded the belt.
The next Reinas de Reina champion will be crowned soon in a 5-way match involving Lady Shani vs. Faby Apache vs. Big Mami vs. La Hiedra vs. Goya Kong will determine a new champion.
