The March 26th, 2018 episode of WWE RAW aired live from the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, OH. Here are 7 takeaways from this week’s show:

7Brock Lesnar Beatdown Roman Reigns Again

Universal Champion Brock Lesnar came down to the ring with Paul Heyman to start this week’s RAW. Heyman introduced Lesnar and Brock started hopping around the ring as the crowd cheered. Paul brought up Lesnar beating down Roman Reigns last week on RAW and rolled footage of it. Heyman then announced that the temporary suspension of Roman Reigns has been lifted.

Heyman followed it up by announcing that Roman Reigns is not here tonight and the crowd cheered. Heyman brought up Roman Reigns’ family raising him to fight, wrestle and compete, but it was a shame that Reigns’ family didn’t raise him to be a man. Heyman stated that Roman Reigns is not man enough to take the Universal Championship from Brock Lesnar.

Roman Reigns was shown in the crowd and he slowly made his way down to the ring. Reigns grabbed a chair, but Lesnar got out of the ring and leveled him with a Clothesline. Reigns battled back and threw Brock into the ring post. Reigns connected with a couple of shots with the steel chair to the back of the Universal Champion. Roman went for a Superman Punch off the steel steps but Lesnar caught him and planted him with a Suplex.

Lesnar picked up the steel steps and smashed Reigns in the face with them. Brock threw the steps into the ring and then brought Roman in there as well. Lesnar picked up the steps again and hit Reigns in the face. Brock struck Reigns in the back a few times with the chair as the crowd cheered him on. Lesnar then connected with an F5 to Reigns on the steel steps in the ring. Brock hopped up on the steps and posed with the title as his theme hit.

After RAW returned from a break, Roman Reigns was shown walking up the entrance ramp under his own power.

Opinion: Lesnar has got the better of Reigns for two weeks now. Roman is likely going to head into WrestleMania 34 at less than 100% and the announcers will make sure to point that out before the match. I just cannot get myself invested in a storyline in which I have to view Reigns as an underdog that is overcoming the odds.
