During his appearance on the Battleground Podcast, Dominik Mysterio hinted at unfinished business with WWE legend John Cena. When asked which legend he’d want to confront on the mic, Dominik didn’t hesitate to include Cena on his list.
Cena—because I have a personal vendetta against him. He did something to me that didn’t sit with me very well, so I’d like to ask him about that. And he knows what I’m talking about.
Though Dominik didn’t elaborate on what exactly Cena did, his cryptic comments hint that we'll see them cross paths on WWE television sooner than later.
Cena famously feuded with Dominik’s father, Rey Mysterio, throughout the 2000s, but the two never crossed paths in the ring during Dominik’s WWE tenure.
With Cena’s limited WWE appearances, Dominik Mysterio would be high on the list of potential final opponents. Whatever transpired, there's bad blood on Dominik's side and Cena will likely have to answer for it in the months ahead.
