ByAndrew RavensProfessional Wrestling Journalist

John Cena and Eric Andre will co-star in the upcoming Netflix film Little Brother. According to Deadline, the film’s plot centers on “a famous real estate agent whose carefully curated world is upended when his eccentric little brother unexpectedly reappears.”

The screenplay, crafted by Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel, brings this intriguing premise to life, with David Bernad and Ruben Fleischer serving as producers. Additional details, including the rest of the cast, production start date, and release date, have not yet been revealed.

John Cena’s impressive filmography continues to expand. In 2024, he starred in Ricky Stanicky, Jackpot, and Argylle. Past highlights include Blockers, Barbie, The Suicide Squad, Trainwreck, Vacation Friends, and the ninth and tenth installments of the Fast & Furious franchise.

Next on Cena’s slate is the live-action feature Matchbox – a collaboration between Skydance, Mattel Films, and Apple – and the highly anticipated second season of Max’s original series Peacemaker.

Outside of Hollywood, Cena is preparing for his farewell WWE tour in 2025. His final in-ring appearances are set for WWE events such as Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and WrestleMania 41.

Throughout the year, Cena plans to wrestle at 36 WWE events, marking the culmination of his storied wrestling career. Fans can also watch Cena appear at Netflix’s first-ever Raw episode, airing January 6, 2025, in Los Angeles.
