Morgan faced charges stemming from a December 2023 traffic stop, including possession of marijuana (under 20 grams), possession of drug paraphernalia, and potentially synthetic cannabinoid possession. The most severe charge, related to the synthetic cannabinoid, was dismissed due to the state\'s inability to prove its origin. An Assistant State Attorney explained that no Florida labs conduct tests to differentiate synthetic from plant-derived THC, leading the charge to be reduced to possession of cannabis.
What Happened During Liv Morgan\'s Arrest
During the stop, a Sumter County Deputy detected the odor of marijuana around Morgan\'s vehicle. Despite an upcoming hearing on the remaining charge on February 20, Morgan\'s attorney entered a plea of Nolo-Contendere on January 31, neither admitting nor denying guilt but accepting conviction.
A fine of $543.00 was imposed, with no additional penalties mentioned in court records. Now, Morgan is free to do as she pleases without this hanging over her head.
