WWE RAW announcer Pat McAfee wasn\'t afraid to share his gratitude at what will be his final episode of the Red brand for a while. From atop the announcer\'s desk, McAfee said thank you to those who built the set for RAW, those in the production truck, the make-up crew, the Superstars, those in Gorilla, and \"the greatest of all time\" Michael Cole.

McAfee will be stepping away from the WWE RAW commentary table to rejoin the ESPN College GameDay team for the upcoming season which will start this week. McAfee’s departure will come as a blow to his fans as his enthusiasm at WWE events has proven to be infectious.
While McAfee will be off WWE TV for a handful of months, he won\'t be leaving the world of wrestling entirely behind. This Saturday\'s edition of ESPN College GameDay will air live from Dublin, Ireland, and will fittingly see the country\'s own Sheamus serve as the celebrity guest picker.

The RAW commentary team will undergo another major change soon enough when Joe Terristore joins the red brand in September 2024. Terristore\'s involvement with WWE was announced back in July and he comes with a lengthy background at ESPN. As to who will fill in for McAfee on next week\'s RAW remains to be seen, though The Miz filled in for Pat earlier this year when McAfee was off dealing with a family situation.
