WWE marked a significant social media achievement last week when their official YouTube channel reached a major milestone, surpassing 100 million subscribers.
With this number, WWE has entered into ultra-rare territory, as only nine other channels have reached that same feat. Given the magnitude of this accomplishment, YouTube has honored the company with an ultra-rare award as well.
Earlier today, WWE Chief Content Offer Paul \"Triple H\" Levesque revealed that WWE had received the coveted Red Diamond Play Button, which recognizes channels that have obtained 100 million subscribers on the YouTube platform. As the name indicates, this award was complemented with a red crystal that was carved into a triangular \"play\" button. According to Triple H, this award also carries some massive weight to it.

While unboxing the Red Diamond Play Button for a YouTube video, Triple H took a moment to thank the WWE talent and staff, as well as the WWE Universe, for supporting the company in their growth on social media and as an overall brand.

In eclipsing 100 million subscribers and 81 billion lifetime views, WWE has now positioned themselves as the largest sports channel on YouTube. Notably, this updated subscriber total is more than the MLB, NHL, NBA, and NFL combined.
