King Barrett was conspicuously absent from Sunday’s TLC PPV and Monday’s RAW, leaving a lot of fans wondering if WWE had lost yet another wrestler due to injury. After initial reports indicated that Barrett was in fact dealing with an unspecified injury, Ryan Satin over at Pro Wrestling Sheet has confirmed Barrett has a nerve injury in his neck.
No word yet during which match Barrett was hurt, but he suffered a bad stinger earlier this month and has been resting up over the past few weeks. Thankfully, the injury isn’t serious and he’s not expected to miss too much ring time.
